Welcome to Measham Dental
We take great pride in the quality of care we provide and always seek to allow ample time to offer a relaxed, enjoyable and unhurried service, with the focus on you — our patient.
We are an experienced and caring dental team. Sandra, the principal dentist, opened the purpose built practice in 2014, with a vision to offer affordable private treatment in a friendly, approachable and professional way.
Since then we have grown mainly by personal recommendation. We pride ourselves on being a source of comfort, reassurance and confidence to our patients through the dentistry we practice. This is reflected in our values statement.
We personally introduce, explain and complete each therapy for each patient and encourage our patients to be active in making decisions regarding their treatment. Sandra and her team invite you to come and visit our practice where you can witness first hand our commitment to our patients.

Using the latest technology
We have an iTero scanner which replaces traditional dental impressions and provides our patients with a highly accurate 3-D visualisation of their teeth.
What to expect on your first visit?
Your initial consultation will last around 40 minutes, which allow us enough time to get to know you and includes a thorough examination of your teeth, mouth and gums as well as the tissues outside the mouth such as lymph nodes and the TMJ. If necessary, we will take x-rays and pictures.
On arrival we will ask you to fill out a confidential Medical History form. It will be useful to bring a list of your medication/s if any and the name and address of your GP. We will discuss your medical history and smile aspirations, and give you the opportunity to ask us questions about your dental health. At the end of the examination we will provide you with a full explanation and detailed treatment plan, including a breakdown of costs.
Children
We welcome children to the practice and encourage regular visits from an early age. This gives us and your child the opportunity to get to know one another so they can feel at ease at all times. This also allows us to monitor your child’s dental development, encourage good home care and a positive attitude for life. We encourage parents to bring their children over so they can be together as a family. We have dental plans for all ages and a great value children’s care plan.
For lifelong good oral health it is important to brush the teeth well and keep a healthy diet. Encourage children to brush twice a day for 2 minutes each time and avoid sugary snacks and acidic drinks. We can help with these messages.
Emergencies
If you have a dental emergency it is important that you phone the practice as early in the day as possible. We will do our very best to see all emergencies on the same day.
Should your emergency occur out of surgery hours, please call the practice number and follow the instructions. There is a £215 call-out charge for out of hours emergency appointments.
